As editor of Home Care InSight magazine (45,000 circulation), I collaborate with Home Care Aides across Washington state to share their stories.
Directing a team of freelance writers, I’ve taken the magazine from an annual to tri-annual publication, redesigned the style and layout, and developed content (translated in six languages) based on issues Home Care Aides care most about.
Home care is often isolating and extremely challenging work. Through the magazine, we work to build community, share resources, and highlight critical issues like mental health, burnout, and on the job injuries.

My goals for the redesign of the magazine included creating a complete style guide (colors, fonts, iconography), updating photography and graphics design, and adding a translated section featuring six languages.
